Recently we added the Facebook "Like" button to our website. What is this and how is it done?
Facebook has a developers section to add social media interaction on your website. It allows users that visit your site to connect their social networks to your site. Once this is done a post will appear on their Facebook page and will generate traffic and interest to your website.
This is extremely powerful for social media visibility.

After the last few years we are starting to see the effects of focusing too much on SEO (search engine optimization) and not enough on website design. The results are high Google bounce rates.
What is a Google bounce rate?
It is the percentage of visitors who come to your website that don't click on any links.
Why is this important?
Because when a visitor doesn't click on anything then there is no conversion or "sale" for your business.
How do we change that?
Start with a clean modern design. We all know what a bad website looks like
Add something dynamic to catch the eye. Don't overdo it though because that can be distasteful.
Have good content. We recommend using a professional copywriter. This is the most often overlooked component.
Have a call to action but don't oversell.

Softwired recently joined a networking group called BNI (Business Network International). It's a referral networking group in 47 countries with over 110,000 members.
